Oatstraw is the green top of oat plants, and has a long history of use as both food and for its wellness benefits. Our bulk Oatstraw Green Tops are certified organic, kosher certified and non-irradiated.
FLAVOR AND AROMA – The taste of oatstraw is soft and mellow. It’s mildly grassy, herbaceous, and slightly bitter with a fresh scent. When consumed as a tea the taste is subtle in flavor and is improved with a bit of honey or sweetener.
VERSATILE USES – Known as a traditional calming herb, oatstraw is a perfect addition to a relaxing hot bath, or to be used to make tea for a flavorful hot beverage, as its actions are soothing, restorative, and nourishing. While consuming oatstraw steeped as a tea is most common, you can also use it as a simple tincture or take it in capsules.
